First Lane Timing started in Hagerstown, Md. by brothers James and Michael Simms. Graduates themselves of the Montgomery County Public School system both brothers compteted in the MPSSAA MD State Track & Field Championships. Following graduation, the brothers went on to compete in collegiate programs before moving into coaching high school and youth athletes. With a vision to help low income schools, clubs, and community organizations, First Lane Timing was created to provide professional services at a low reasonable price. First Lane Timing uses the latest in state of the art equipment to provide an experience that is second to none.
